Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our experienced guides will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. During the journey, they will provide an introduction to the captivating experiences that await you on this remarkable safari in Rwanda.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Travel to Musanze

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a captivating city tour of Kigali. Explore significant historical and cultural sites that showcase the rich heritage of Rwanda, such as the Genocide Memorial Center and the local craft center. In the afternoon, journey through picturesque landscapes as you travel to Musanze, located in the countryside. Marvel at the stunning highlands and lush crop estates along the way before arriving at your hotel.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Visit to Gorilla Guardians' Village

Rise early and prepare for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by expert ranger guides, venture into the dense forests, descending into steep valleys as you trace the footsteps of these majestic creatures. Immerse yourself in the natural habitat of the gorillas and witness their captivating behavior during a one-hour interaction. Afterward, descend from the rainforest and visit the Gorilla Guardians' Village in the afternoon. Meet reformed poachers who have become passionate advocates for gorilla conservation and wildlife preservation.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking and Departure

Embark on a thrilling golden monkey tracking adventure with knowledgeable ranger escorts. These enchanting primates are found exclusively in the Virunga corridor, spanning across DR Congo and Uganda. Follow their trails through bamboo forests as they feast on bamboo shoots. After this remarkable experience, it will be time to return to Kigali city, keeping your departure flight schedule in mind. Our safari guide will ensure a timely transfer to Kigali International Airport, where you can bid farewell to Rwanda with cherished memories.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

* Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to Bwindi Forest National Park.

* Enjoy the scenic journey, observing the green terrain, vegetation, and birds along the way.

* Stop for lunch en route.

* Arrive at the park and check-in at Buhoma Lodge , or Rushaga for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

* After breakfast, head to the Park headquarters in Bwindi Forest for a briefing on the guidelines and conduct during gorilla trekking.

* You will be assigned to a group of 8 individuals and assigned a lead park ranger guide.

* Embark on a trek through the lush forest vegetation in search of the magnificent Mountain Gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours, depending on the gorilla group's location.

* Once you locate the gorillas, spend an unforgettable hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat.

* After the trek, return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure to Kigali or Entebbe

* Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and prepare for departure.

* Depart with your luggage for Kigali or Entebbe International Airport, depending on your onward travel plans.

Safari Includes:

Safari Excludes:

* Expenses of a personal nature, such as airfare, visa fees, luxury drinks, laundry, tips to local guides, telephone calls, and porter fees during the gorilla trek.

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park from Kigali

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, your experienced driver guide will pick you up for an exciting journey to Akagera National Park. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours, during which you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the picturesque landscapes. If you wish, feel free to ask the guide for stopovers to capture some stunning photos.

Upon arrival at Akagera National Park, we will embark on a short game drive en route to our accommodation. Check-in at the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious lunch. Afterward, we'll have an unforgettable boat trip on Lake Ihema, where you can observe Hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Full-day Game Drive in Akagera National Park

Rise early and fuel up with a delicious breakfast before setting out on an exciting full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. Our main focus will be on spotting the majestic big mammals, including Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, various Antelope species, and the recently re-introduced Lions and Rhinos. Akagera is known for its diverse wildlife habitats and is a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 500 bird species in the park.

You will have a packed lunch for the game drive, allowing you to spend more time exploring the park. The game drive will last approximately 6 hours, giving you ample opportunities to encounter incredible wildlife. After the game drive, we will start the journey back to Kigali, taking a route along the lake, where you might spot a variety of animals.
